Our recommended blog application is Wordpress, because it is open source. This means that:
- No licensing fees will apply to installation of the blog, only our setup and customization time.
- A wide array of developers share their modifications, so Wordpress receives the widest variety of options, templates, and additions available to an off-the shelf blog application.
Another blog tool created for our cold fusion clients is called Mango Blog, which is also Open Source. It is not quite as flexible as wordpress, but some of our custom clients would need to use Mango Blog instead.
